About Cathy

Cathy Hopkins was born in Summerside, Prince Edward Island in 1967.  When she was a child, her family moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she was raised.  She still resides in Halifax with her supportive husband, Robert. They have a  beautiful daughter, Jessica and three wonderful grandchildren: Amelia, Logan and Oliver that keeps Cathy entertained.

Cathy works in the finance industry by day and author by night.  She enjoys writing, traveling and meeting new people.  Cathy has always been drawn to the twists, surprises, and action of mystery and suspense stories.  The love of these stories is the foundation to her dreams of publishing a novel in the same genre.

She is currently writing her next book, which continues the journey started in The Letters of a Stranger and will be available in the fall of 2022.
